Orientation started today. After talking to us for hours in a lecture hall, the BU staff decided to give us a firsthand look at famous London landmarks. They herded nearly 300 of us through the tube system and then on to a tour boat in Westminster. Once everyone was safely huddled either on the roof or in the indoor sitting rooms, we traveled down the Thames to Greenwich. A London BU professor (and certified tour guide) spouted out fun facts along the way. Everyone took pictures, gaped, and pointed (me included).
